With multiple pro certifications, including being a certified pickleball coach with both PPR and IPTPA, I have been teaching and refining players' skills for years. Beyond coaching, I also run and compete in tournaments, winning the WPA World Championships Open Men's Doubles in 2023 and the Los Angeles Open Mens Doubles 2024. Welcome to Golf Lessons by P. Kollar, where passion meets precision in the charming city of Fountain Valley, CA. Mile Square Golf Club is my home course, where you’ll often find me working on my game. As a dedicated golf instructor, I specialize in offering a personalized coaching lesson in golf. Whether you're a beginner eager to learn the basics and fundamentals of the game or intermediate player aiming to refine your overall golfing ability, the lessons I implement are designed to enhance your overall golf game, while most importantly helping you to enjoy your time spent practicing. As a graduate of Golf Academy of America, Carlsbad, California (sadly no longer in business), I studied the psychology of golf, complex teaching and course management. I also learned how to build a set of golf clubs as well as mastering the complex rules of golf, and the overall fundamentals of how to coach and instruct students. During my 2 years at GAA, I quickly excelled, making the competitive Club Golf Team. I came to learn that there are no two identical golf swings. It is my job to assist you to find the mechanically correct way to improve your swing and develop your short game. Whenever you’re ready to lower that scorecard, I’m ready to coach you!

Travis is a dedicated PGA member and TPI Golf Level 3 certified instructor who found his passion for golf early and never looked back. With over 15 years of teaching experience and a lead instructor role at Big Canyon Country Club since 2015, Travis combines expertise with cutting-edge tools like high-speed video, Swing Catalyst, K-Motion technology, and launch monitors to analyze and enhance each athlete’s performance. His approach centers on biomechanics and the body-swing connection, focusing on rhythm, feel, and flow to help players fully enjoy the game. Outside of golf, Travis and his wife Erin, along with their three children, Courtlynn, Jordy, and Bodie, enjoy an active lifestyle filled with sports, the beach, mountains, and travel adventures from their home in Aliso Viejo.

As a former professional Tennis coach in Australia, I've become widely recognized as one of the best tennis coaches around the country. I've also played at the highest level and am a Pan Pacific and Australian Masters champion in both singles and doubles and a recent winner of the Oregon senior games. Now residing in L.A. I bring a wealth of expertise tailored for everyone - from absolute beginners to seasoned pros. I'm a Certified PTR Professional Coach and very passionate about this amazing game. I'm here to refine your skills and boost your enjoyment and love for the game. I am President of the newly formed World Tennis Association LLC and the founder of Modified Tennis to keep less mobile players in the game longer. "Brian demonstrates a novel way of teaching by giving me the opportunity to identify my own mistakes based on the content that I learned from him on the spot. This exercise, along with the drills, helps me better understand the concepts that we learned today. If there is one improvement I have to state, it’s that the drop shot adjustments could be introduced better. Give them awareness that the balls can come at different height/different speeds first and then show them the techniques to handle such cases.
