My specialty is turning “Wait, what do I do?” into “Oh wow, that actually went forward.” I teach brand new golfers because that’s where the best stories happen through the chaos of their first swings. The kids, the adults, and the brave souls who show up holding the club upside down. I live for the moment your swing finally behaves and we both look at each other like, “Did you see that?” If you’re curious about golf and ready to learn, mess up, and accidentally hit a perfect shot, I’m your coach. My coaching philosophy is simple: every session should be as enjoyable as it is instructive, no matter your skill level. I take pride in introducing newcomers to the world of pickleball and relish in the opportunity to elevate the game for those looking to step up their play. I've had the pleasure of teaching with the fantastic team at Reaxn Pickleball, right at the Burbank Tennis Center, as well as various other Rec Centers. My goal is always the same – to make sure that fun and improvement go hand in hand for everyone. With over 25 years of experience in the game, golf has been a lifelong passion that has taken me from junior competitions to D1 collegiate golf and beyond. I played for Oregon State University and did not miss a tournament. Additionally, I have competed at the U.S. Girls Junior Amateurs twice (‘08, ‘09) and the U.S. Women's Amateurs twice (‘12, ‘14). My PR is 64 back in high school. After college, I competed professionally on the Cactus Tour in Arizona, where I secured a tournament win at -11. While in Arizona, I also found joy in teaching, working with kids ages 6 to 12 at the TopGolf Summer Academy, helping them develop strong fundamentals and a love for the game. I also have experience going to Q-School and made it to Stage 2 my first year. Whether you're a beginner looking to build confidence and a strong foundation or an experienced player looking to lower your scores, I offer tailored lessons based on your goals.
