Hi, I’m Coach Frida Monsalvo I’m a former Division 1 soccer player, All-American, and SCC Defensive Player of the Year with a degree in Kinesiology and a deep passion for helping athletes reach their full potential. I currently serve as the Head Girls’ Soccer Coach at Glen A. Wilson High School and as an Assistant Coach for the Mt. SAC Women’s Soccer Program. With years of experience as both a player and coach, I specialize in sports performance, speed and agility, strength and conditioning, and injury recovery—especially for athletes returning from ACL injuries. I’ve worked with athletes of all levels and ages, from youth players learning the basics to competitive athletes preparing for the next level. "The coach was very nice and easy to work with. Came with all the necessary equipment to help guide me. Helped take videos so I could see for myself the issues with my form. Unfortunately, the location had a small hiccup with too many players and a small part of the lesson took part outside of a pickleball court. Other than that, the lesson itself was sufficient enough for me to start working on some of my bad habits.

"On my first day with Byron, from my start of a few warm up swings and not being able to hit the ball consistently and minimal control, within the first 30 minutes of guidance on grip, stance, swing, and encouragement, I was able to swing better, get the ball in the air more frequently and relatively in the right direction. Byron is patient and provides feedback throughout, along with tips and guidance to take a break in between swings if some shots aren’t great or need to try a different club then go back to the one I was having some difficulty with.
