Margarita is a certified tennis instructor with over 20 years of coaching experience and a remarkable 30 years as a competitive player. A 5.0-level player, she has trained at renowned institutions such as the Rafael Nadal Academy and the Arantxa Sánchez Academy in Spain. Margarita has coached top-level Southern California juniors, high school teams, and aspiring athletes, specializing in tournament preparation and college scholarship training. With a Master's degree from St. Andrews University in Scotland and expertise in nutrition, exercise physiology, anatomy, and strength training, she offers a holistic approach to player development. Fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Catalan, Margarita creates an inclusive and engaging coaching environment tailored to players of all ages and levels. Mile Square Golf Club is my home course, where you’ll often find me working on my game. As a dedicated golf instructor, I specialize in offering a personalized coaching lesson in golf. Whether you're a beginner eager to learn the basics and fundamentals of the game or intermediate player aiming to refine your overall golfing ability, the lessons I implement are designed to enhance your overall golf game, while most importantly helping you to enjoy your time spent practicing. As a graduate of Golf Academy of America, Carlsbad, California (sadly no longer in business), I studied the psychology of golf, complex teaching and course management. I also learned how to build a set of golf clubs as well as mastering the complex rules of golf, and the overall fundamentals of how to coach and instruct students. During my 2 years at GAA, I quickly excelled, making the competitive Club Golf Team. I came to learn that there are no two identical golf swings. It is my job to assist you to find the mechanically correct way to improve your swing and develop your short game. Whenever you’re ready to lower that scorecard, I’m ready to coach you!
