I’ve had a passion for competitive golf from an early age, with achievements like winning the Peninsula Country Club Junior Championship in 1999 and holding records at Burlingame Country Club and Harding Park. I was ranked as the No. 1 player on a team with two future U.S. Open competitors and played for the UC Davis golf team in 2001 and 2002. I've trained with over 10 PGA professionals and attended the prestigious Jim McLean National Junior Summer Academy. With over three years of teaching junior golf, I love working with beginners and young players, while also running my own business, FORE Golf Towels.

I am a pickleball player, former health and fitness coach, and currently working in a private practice as an associate clinical mental health therapist. Pickleball is a sport I value for its creativity, physical challenge, and its ability to both quiet and challenge the mind. In my coaching, I go beyond advanced pickleball technique by integrating the mental side of the game. I represented the Czech Republic at the 2025 Pickleball World Cup Championship in Fort Lauderdale and designed a pickleball-based therapy program for teens with anxiety and depression—helping players build confidence, focus, and resilience both on and off the court.

I am a former D1 tennis player and I’m offering my services as a hitting partner as well as a coach. I played D2 as well and my University was ranked 9 in the nation. Won many singles and doubles tournaments throughout my career. Used to be Top 50. I’ve worked as a student athlete at a D1 school as well. Does not matter if you are a beginner or a professional tennis player, I offer insight for all. All of my current clients are extremely happy as I have helped carve their game significantly. I'm Coach Darren and I specialize in improving skills through targeted drills with a pickleball machine. My focus is on addressing weaknesses and specific shots such as more consistent and powerful backhands, hitting speedups and defending them, third shot drops, topspin rolls, resets, countering slices and dinking and flicks.
