I’m Jocelyn Martinez, and I’ve worked as a professional dancer in the commercial dance industry since 2016, training in styles like jazz, hip hop, tap, ballet, stretching, contemporary, exercise & conditioning, and jazz funk for the past 20 years. I’ve also been teaching dance since the year of 2016 to students of all different levels, so if you’ve always wanted to start dancing, today is the day! With a lifelong background in racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, and a passion for pickleball, I combine my experience as a competitive 5.0-level pickleball medalist and three Division 1 championships, and reaching the Southern California Semi-finals of CIF in tennis. A teaching professional at Braemar Country Club and Mika's Tennis Academy, a former Special Education instructor, registered behavior therapist, adaptive skills clinician, mobility trainer, and physical therapist aide, and I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, and Biomechanics.
