She has worked with students of all ages from infants in “Mommy and Me” classes to children, teens, adults and elderly, adapting her teaching style to meet each individual’s needs. Mercedez is passionate about helping swimmers build confidence, improve technique, and develop a lifelong love for the water. For nearly five decades, I've lived and breathed the beautiful game, guiding players of all ages to reach their full potential on and off the field. My coaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive environment where technical skills flourish alongside tactical understanding and a genuine love for soccer. I have worked with Youth National Teams and been a college coach for many years as well as a director of multiple youth soccer clubs and a youth state soccer organization. As a sport psychologist as well, I understand motivation and look to assist all players in that area too. Currently I hold every coaching license offered in the USA and also hold coaching licenses from England, Holland and FIFA.
