Lucy is a PPR certified Pickleball pro who has been teaching Pickleball for the past 7 years. She had previously taught tennis for over 25 years. Outside of Pickleball, Lucy is a retired nurse practitioner and a well-known member of the Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota Pickleball community. She is also a sponsored athlete from Team Head Pickleball and the Regional Marketing Coordinator for the state of Florida and Georgia. Lucy is also bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish.

I struggled with popping balls, my backhand returns and landing my serve consistently. Learned from Bacem that I don’t need to crush my serve and I just need to land it, now I almost land 100% of my serves. ✅ I also implanting his feedback on how to grip and position my paddle for backhand returns, how to be ready with my paddles at all times, how to anticipate the ball and read the play. I was also advised to focus on watching the opponent how they serve so I know what to expect and how to return it without hitting out or short. For nearly five decades, I've lived and breathed the beautiful game, guiding players of all ages to reach their full potential on and off the field. My coaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive environment where technical skills flourish alongside tactical understanding and a genuine love for soccer. I have worked with Youth National Teams and been a college coach for many years as well as a director of multiple youth soccer clubs and a youth state soccer organization. As a sport psychologist as well, I understand motivation and look to assist all players in that area too. Currently I hold every coaching license offered in the USA and also hold coaching licenses from England, Holland and FIFA.
