I started playing tennis back in 1996. I used to belong to the Paxton Tennis & Fitness Club in Paxton, MA from 2000 to 2003. I used to play in the 2.0- or 2.5-men’s league. I played a few tournaments in Paxton and a few doubles matches in Massachusetts. From 2004 to 2009 I played in California. In 2009 I moved back to Worcester, Massachusetts. From 2010 until 2015 I played on the Lake Ave. Tennis Courts in Worcester, MA. In 2015 I rejoined again the Paxton Tennis & Fitness Club. From 2016 until 2019 I played in a 3.5 men's leagues in the Y-Greendale, MA. I also had a contract with the Paxton & Tennis fitness Club on Sunday mornings. In the winter I played in several men's leagues. A few unpleasant things occurred recently, the Y-Greendale and the Paxton & Tennis fitness Club no longer offers tennis; so, now I am forced to play tennis outside of Worcester, Massachusetts. In 2021 I played only one tennis tournament. In 2022 I did not play only any tournaments. In 2023 I played in a couple of tournaments. The first tournament was a level 4 open tournament in October 2023. I was stunned by the level of tennis those guys were playing. The second tournament I played in November I did better. In 2024 I signed up for another tournament, but I did not show up due to a work conflict. That hurt because I was so looking forward to playing in another tournament. In winter of 2024 I decided to take a year off from coaching and work on my game. I believe that coaching really harnesses the passion for playing. I was dying to play more tournaments. Coming back to play in 2025 was very tough at first. I felt like my reflexes of the playing ability were gone. I couldn’t see the ball; I felt very slow with my footwork. I still believe that I have a lot of work to do; however, I am really enjoying playing in tournaments.
With over a decade of lacrosse experience, I blend proven strategies with a player-centric approach. I work with goalies and am dedicated to fostering skill development, sportsmanship, and a genuine love for the game. My passion lies in empowering athletes to reach their full potential on and off the field. I have worked with Goalies at all levels, most recently at the collegiate level. I work to improve game awareness, hand eye coordination, technique and other aspects of the game. I also have experience in recruiting and other parts of the college process

Currently, I am the Chief Operator of Grit Athletics Performance Strength and Co-Operator of SAYA (student athlete youth academy), both based in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts. I am also the Defensive Coordinator at Lawrence HS (Lawrence, MA). I train mainly in Methuen and am also able to come to You! My goal is to help You, as an athlete or your team fill in the "g.a.p.s." in your (their) game. It is my belief that most football players can elevate their game with a shift to more skill work, pertinent to their position(s), and going through the process of becoming a true student of the game; players tend to execute "faster" and more consistently when they understand the details of the game, while also mastering the basics and fundamentals. My football coaching and training experience has spanned the NFL, semi-pro, college, high school, and middle school levels. In the professional arena, I have been a strength and conditioning coach for the Washington Redskins. I have been a strength, speed, and conditioning coach at Georgetown University; my teams have included Football, Men’s Lacrosse, Baseball, Women’s Soccer, Softball, Crew, Men’s and Women’s Track, Swimming and Diving, and Men’s Soccer. At the high school level, I have assumed roles as a Head Football Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator, and a positional coach (Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Defensive Backs, and Linebackers); off the gridiron, I have been a physical education teacher, strength and conditioning coach and student adviser. I also have trained and coached at the middle school level: football, basketball, and physical education. I am certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Typical age groups include collegiate, high school, and middle school athletes. What makes me different? I have a effective and proven process to meet athletes where they are at and execute a game plan to elevate their ability, while building their growth, character, and football IQ! My role is to serve each athlete and assist their respective journeys. Thank You!

With over two decades immersed in the art of violin, I foster a supportive environment for students of all levels. My passion lies in nurturing musicality and technique, helping each student discover their unique voice.

My journey with the guitar began at the tender age of 5 in the quaint town of New Ipswich, New Hampshire. From local bands to writing my own material, I explored genres ranging from Acoustic Americana to Heavy Metal throughout high school in Jaffrey. Venturing into recording with projects like "Liquid" and "Arriving," I fine-tuned my lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist skills at Sound Design Studios in Brattleboro, VT, alongside Justin Case. Having graced venues across the USA and collaborated with music giants, I'm putting the finishing touches on my 21st album, with plans for a new release soon. Now calling Boston, MA, home, my guitar journey unfolds in the heart of the city's vibrant music scene.
"Aaron Lehtonen has been very influential in my musical journey. He has been very informative in his teaching techniques and has helped me with my playing and learning to play the music I wanted. Over the years, he has encouraged me to keep going, has been easy-going, and has understood my need to keep improving and honing my particular style. I would encourage anyone to accept Aaron as your teacher if you would like someone who has knowledge in many different genres and will work hard to help you in your playing.
