Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Coach Bryan Hughes is a product of Philadelphia’s parks and recreational programs. His 30+ years of teaching include 6 NJCAA National Titles coaching with Tyler Junior College, including 6 individual Rolex National Champions. He has directed community and country club programs in Florida and Texas and started Jedi Tennis LLC, here in Philadelphia, in 2008, as well as The South Philadelphia Tennis Association in 2010. Certified Premier Provider for the USTA as well as Middle States Committee Member, The SPTA was The USTA Middle States Section "Community Tennis Association of the Year." TJC Tennis Tech Graduate and Instructor, Also Coached USTA National Champions in Juniors, Adult Singles, Doubles and Team, Texas State High School Singles, Doubles, and Team Champions. Currently a private tennis instructor in the Main Line of Philadelphia, I understand the importance of creating engaging lessons/drills that keep new and experienced players motivated. I aim to develop proper technique, coordination, and sportsmanship in a safe and supporting way. I was captain of my HS team, playing Varsity singles and doubles for Harriton and participating in State and District championships each year.

With a rich history spanning 15 years as a dedicated personal trainer, I've honed my expertise while owning and managing my own gym for a decade. My journey has been marked by shaping the lives of numerous clients, including athletes, through tailored fitness guidance and unwavering commitment.
