Having grown up playing golf alongside my uncle, who worked for the Ryder Cup, I was fortunate to witness numerous professional golfers in action. This exposure fueled my passion for the game and instilled in me a deep appreciation for its intricacies. With a wealth of experience in teaching children, my approach prioritizes creating a fun and enjoyable learning environment while imparting essential golfing skills.

Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Coach Bryan Hughes is a product of Philadelphia’s parks and recreational programs. His 30+ years of teaching include 6 NJCAA National Titles coaching with Tyler Junior College, including 6 individual Rolex National Champions. He has directed community and country club programs in Florida and Texas and started Jedi Tennis LLC, here in Philadelphia, in 2008, as well as The South Philadelphia Tennis Association in 2010. Certified Premier Provider for the USTA as well as Middle States Committee Member, The SPTA was The USTA Middle States Section "Community Tennis Association of the Year." TJC Tennis Tech Graduate and Instructor, Also Coached USTA National Champions in Juniors, Adult Singles, Doubles and Team, Texas State High School Singles, Doubles, and Team Champions. I played four years of varsity softball and recently finished playing at Penn State Abington.

With over two decades of experience as a guitarist, I've embarked on a musical journey primarily self-taught and guided by a holistic approach to learning. Embracing a slightly unorthodox method, I've found joy in collaborating with musicians of all skill levels, exploring diverse genres and styles along the way. Currently, I'm immersed in playing guitar with a church band, where I enjoy a wide range of music and continue to learn and grow. While my coaching experience is limited to teaching family members in my youth, my passion for music is boundless.
