Jorge Alfonzo is a passionate and driven tennis professional with a proven record of developing players and programs across Connecticut. A former Division I athlete at Tennessee Technological University, he won four straight Ohio Valley Conference titles and competed in the NCAA National Tournament. Having coached at Shore and Country Club, Century Country Club, and Round Hill Country Club, Jorge combines high-level playing experience with an energetic, motivating coaching style that builds skill, confidence, and a lifelong love for the game.

With two decades immersed in the world of tennis, including a professional playing career, I offer students a unique blend of experience and strategic insight. I am dedicated to fostering a love for the game and helping players of all levels reach their full potential.

I'm on a journey to become a touring and session guitarist, currently pursuing a BA in Music Performance at Molloy University. With over a decade of guitar mastery, I'm ready to make waves in the music industry. Growing up with influences like GNR and Metallica, I love diverse genres, including bachata, corridos, flamenco, jazz, and classical music. My musical journey knows no bounds, and I'm passionate about weaving magic across various styles. Whether shredding solos, laying down soulful melodies, or adding a flamenco flair, I'm dedicated to bringing your musical vision to life. Ki also scored on an average of 70.59 while he was competing in mini-tournaments nationwide. He has worked with a number of PGA tour coaches such as Mike Bender, Todd Anderson, and Chris Como. He has also worked with well-known short-game coaches like James Sieckmann and David Orr. Every now and then, he travels to Texas University to study and gain more knowledge and experience in golf under Director and Professor of Kinesiology, Dr. Kwon. Currently, Ki is now a certified instructor under the famous PGA tour coach, Dana Dahlquist. It is no doubt that Ki is an experienced player. He understands and is familiar with all the new technologies such as Trackman, Flightscope, GCquad, as well as Swing Catalyst training tools. Most importantly, he understands the biomechanics of the body which ultimately help you with the game of golf. Ki believes in a holistic approach to golf instruction and takes a great deal of pride in coaching and mentoring his students. He enjoys working with every level of golfers and helping them achieve their goals.
