I earned my Hatha 200 hr. and Children’s 95 hr. Yoga Teacher Training certificates in 2020. Since then I have taught babies, families, children, teens and adults.

I bring a decade of rich experience from both community and church choirs, where I've finely tuned my musical skills through comprehensive training in music theory, vocal exercises, and breathing techniques. As a vocal instructor, my passion lies in expanding vocal range, refining control for riffs, runs, and vibrato, helping aspiring singers reach their full potential. Beyond teaching, I'm also recognized as King K.C., a seasoned Afrofusion artist, bringing a unique perspective to vocal training through my professional experience as a performer. I'm a concert vocalist with 12 years of experience sharing my passion for singing. My teaching style blends technical mastery with joyful exploration, helping each student find their unique voice. Teaching Experience: 5 years The students of Mingyang Ma were admitted to the undergraduate or graduate programs of the Manhattan School of Music, the New England Conservatory of Music, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Longy School of Music of Bard College, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as the Royal Northern College of Music in the UK and the University of York respectively, and were awarded high or full scholarships.
