I'm a concert vocalist with 12 years of experience sharing my passion for singing. My teaching style blends technical mastery with joyful exploration, helping each student find their unique voice. Teaching Experience: 5 years The students of Mingyang Ma were admitted to the undergraduate or graduate programs of the Manhattan School of Music, the New England Conservatory of Music, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Longy School of Music of Bard College, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as the Royal Northern College of Music in the UK and the University of York respectively, and were awarded high or full scholarships.


For 15 years, I have been studying, playing and performing guitar, all around the world! I have toured and gigged professionally at a multitude of venues and festivals. I was educated at Berklee College of Music and blend a thorough grounding in music theory and concepts with real-world experience playing in bands, as a front-person and as a supporting guitarist live and in the studio! Louis Mitten is a Brooklyn-based classical guitarist and composer. Born in Tampa, Florida, Louis began playing guitar when he was eight, performing pop and rock songs around the local Tampa Bay area. Louis went to Blake High School to study classical guitar with John Parris performing solo and chamber recitals. He then went to Florida State University to complete his degree in guitar performance with Bruce Holzman and Celso Cano, teaching, performing and studying guitar pedagogy. Louis is now located in Brooklyn, performing and teaching throughout New York City and competing internationally in classical guitar competitions.
