My experience with Putnam Valley’s Basketball program and DreamHack Sports Games has provided me with a strong foundation in coaching, organizing, and mentoring. I developed superior communication skills at DreamHack in Copenhagen, Denmark, having worked with a diverse international organization. This opportunity allowed me to teach people from different backgrounds and bring them together for a common goal. As a coach for Putnam Valley, I consistently build my players' skills and enthusiasm during practice sessions and games. Not only do I want my team to become better players, but I also want to assist them in becoming well-rounded individuals. My experiences have instilled in me the importance of promoting student leadership and the development of exemplary student-athletes who strive for competitive excellence, academic achievement, and a commitment to service. I am also a certified personal trainer through NASM and certified in CPR/AED. I would be open to assisting the athletes in the gym and the kitchen as I studied sports nutrition through a minor in food studies.

"Don is an excellent choice for seniors looking to learn or improve at pickleball. He understands the limitations of people that are slightly older like myself. He focuses on fundamentals, puts safety 1st and explains how to play smarter not harder while creating a relaxed, welcoming environment. Players feel supported and comfortable at every level. Keeps the fun in the game.
