My name is Dawson Phok. I am a Greensboro native and have been playing/studying the game of basketball for 15+ Years. I have experience working with and developing children into focused athletes through my work at the YMCA. I place emphasis on mindset, discipline, and detail in movement. I will make your child better on and off the court and teach the importance of consistency and longevity.

Golf has been a part of my life for more than 3 decades. As an avid junior golfer, I won a club championship, made all conference my sophomore - senior year in high school. I was a part of 2 regional championship teams as well as an 11th place and 7th place finish in high school state championships. From a young age it’s been my passion. Now that I’m in corporate America being able to use my talents to help win numerous charity benefits and raise money for many great causes has been more than fulfilling. I’ve seen the game evolve from wooden drivers and shot shaping course management to now teeing it high and letting it fly. One of the best benefits about golf is not only can you enjoy the game your entire life but you can find satisfaction in the game no matter your skill level. So if you're just a beginner looking to dip your toes in the water, or if you’ve been playing golf for a long time and feel like you’ve plateaued and you’ll never get better, or maybe you're just tired of letting your buddies get in your wallet. Lionel brings a wealth of experience as both a former professional football player and a seasoned coach across multiple sports. A standout Defensive Back at Northern Illinois University, he served as Team Co-Captain, earned All-MAC honors, and was awarded MVP at the 2004 Silicon Valley Classic Bowl. Following college, he played as a free agent for the Cleveland Browns and with the Montreal Alouettes. Transitioning to coaching, Lionel spent several years guiding youth athletes as a basketball, track, and junior peewee football coach, and served as a coach for the Georgia Gridiron Classic from 2014-2017. He is passionate about instilling discipline, teamwork, and resilience in young athletes.

Driven by a lifelong love of the game, I'm a dedicated golf coach with 25 years of experience, including time spent competing on the Mini-Tours and many year of personal instruction and development. My passion lies in helping golfers of all skill levels unlock their potential and achieve their goals on the course. Combining technical expertise with a supportive and engaging approach, I'm here to guide you on your journey to golfing excellence.
