I've been playing basketball since the age of 12 with the help of a small basketball court in my family's backyard. I've played at the high school level, learning from coach James Daye, an ex tarheels player who was coached by NC, Tarheels Dean Smith, making me a basketball tarheel protege. I've also played in a variety of competitive recreational basketball leagues. I've coached in AAU and other competitive leagues. Currently, I am a certified basketball referee with over 10 years of experience. I'm a coach who is well-rounded and not only able to teach the fundamental to expert skills of the game. I'm a former college tennis player with a passion for the game that continues to this day. I still hit the courts regularly and enjoy teaching others the skills and strategies that helped me succeed. Sharing my love for tennis with students brings me immense joy, and I strive to inspire them to reach their full potential.

Jasmine Stephen is a dedicated teacher with a passion for working with kids and sharing her expertise in basketball. With a background in playing basketball throughout college, Jasmine brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her lessons. Students can expect to learn essential fundamentals and skills under her guidance, setting a strong foundation for their basketball journey.

I'm passionate about fostering a love for baseball in every student, using my 15 years of experience to develop well-rounded players and lifelong fans.

I was born in North Carolina but moved back to Mexico when I was 2. I started playing tennis when I was 4, and by age 6, I was training with Guillermo Stevens, a former pro who was ranked 302 in the world. That’s where I started developing my game, played at a pretty competitive level, competed in regional tournaments throughout Mexico and the U.S., and eventually played in the Federación Mexicana de Tenis (FMT) 14-and-under division. At 16, I moved back to the U.S., still competing seriously. I later committed to play D1 for 1 year before I tore and dislocated my shoulder. The injury gave me a new perspective, and that’s when I started getting more into coaching and helping others grow in the sport.
