With over 1000 hours of experience, I blend technical instruction with motivational support to build skill and confidence. I’m a lifelong athlete, fitness enthusiast, and proud Shelby Township native, working in Finance and running e-commerce and motivational businesses. Hi, I am Mikka Chinbaatar - yatga player, collaborative pianist, and educator passionate about connecting cultures through music. I began my journey with the yatga (a traditional Mongolian zither) at the Mongolian State Conservatory and later fell in love with the piano. After performing internationally and working with orchestras and chamber groups, I moved to the U.S. to deepen my craft. I recently completed my Master of Music in Collaborative Piano at Southern Illinois University, where I also taught and performed across genres - from classical to jazz to contemporary. When I am not at the piano, you might find me dancing, singing, making content, or laughing with friends.
