I’m Brandt Goetz, and I’m passionate about shaping young men into leaders—on the field and beyond. With nearly a decade of coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels, I’ve been fortunate to contribute to programs like the University of Oregon, UNLV, Tigard High School, and now George Fox University, where I currently serve as the Specialists Coach and Assistant of Defense. At George Fox, I coach kickers, punters, and long snappers to sharpen their technique, execution, and football IQ—while also supporting the defensive staff with operations to ensure team-wide success. My role is rooted in precision, communication, and consistency, helping specialists thrive under pressure and contribute to winning efforts. Throughout my career, I’ve celebrated major milestones—from Pac-12 and bowl game victories to high school playoff runs—each one reinforcing the importance of detail, culture, and maintaining a championship mindset daily. Whether in practice or in the film room, I lead with energy, loyalty, and a drive to elevate those around me. I thrive in high-performance, high-integrity environments and continuously push myself to evolve—studying the latest in technique, drills, play design, sequencing, and program management. I bring a coach’s mindset and a strategist’s lens to every opportunity, always looking for ways to grow and serve the team at a higher level.

I am a classically trained flutist with a music degree and years of ensemble and solo performance experience, including international performances and competitions. I have played at an advanced level through classical music school and college, and I currently teach flute to beginners and intermediate students. I focus on technical correctness as well as musicality, helping students build a strong foundation while also finding their own musical voice. I am very clear in my demonstrations, often using evocative language and singing melodies to help students shape phrasing, tone, and expression in a natural, intuitive way.
