Currently a private tennis instructor in the Main Line of Philadelphia, I understand the importance of creating engaging lessons/drills that keep new and experienced players motivated. I aim to develop proper technique, coordination, and sportsmanship in a safe and supporting way. I was captain of my HS team, playing Varsity singles and doubles for Harriton and participating in State and District championships each year.

I am a naturally born teacher, and would do this regardless of the money. I've loved pickleball from the start and cherish the connections it fosters! I will allow you to learn at your pace but help you to gain confidence quickly. None of my lessons are set in stone, always fluid based on your strengths and weaknesses.

I've been hooked on the thrill of pickleball for the past year and a half. With a background in tennis from my high school days, I've seamlessly transitioned my love for racquet sports to the pickleball court. Having played in tournaments and regularly honing my skills at multiple locations, I recently dipped my toes into teaching as a guest instructor at the Phoenixville Rec Center. The experience left me eager to share my knowledge and passion with more players. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Coach Bryan Hughes is a product of Philadelphia’s parks and recreational programs. His 30+ years of teaching include 6 NJCAA National Titles coaching with Tyler Junior College, including 6 individual Rolex National Champions. He has directed community and country club programs in Florida and Texas and started Jedi Tennis LLC, here in Philadelphia, in 2008, as well as The South Philadelphia Tennis Association in 2010. Certified Premier Provider for the USTA as well as Middle States Committee Member, The SPTA was The USTA Middle States Section "Community Tennis Association of the Year." TJC Tennis Tech Graduate and Instructor, Also Coached USTA National Champions in Juniors, Adult Singles, Doubles and Team, Texas State High School Singles, Doubles, and Team Champions. Little Mo National Champion and USTA Adult and Junior League Coordinator and USTA and ITF Certified Umpire. NJTL Singles and Doubles, and Team Champions. Stanford University Summer Coach.
