My lifelong love of music blossomed on the piano, an instrument whose versatility and expressive potential captivated me from a young age. As a concert pianist, I experienced the joy of performing firsthand and now, with 25 years of teaching behind me, I'm passionate about nurturing a love for music in others. I work with students of all ages and levels, helping them to not only master the technical skills of piano playing but also to discover the profound joy and fulfillment that music making brings.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Music and have put this experience to use playing in a church band and a local country band. I've taught piano (and voice) for several years now, and am happy to be working with Funkytown Music Academy.

I played at a varsity level since my sophomore year of high school. My team for the 3 years I was apart of it ranked top 25 in 5A State of Texas for tennis. We competed with various schools that ranked above us with 2 top 20 schools being in our district. I was placed on the second all district team. I helped coach a high school in the summer in Crowley for 3 months with a former d1 player and now current high school coach.

Taylor is a skilled Sambist and Judoka with 16 years of experience in martial arts, holding three national and Pan-American gold medals. Recently, she achieved a significant victory over Merab Dvalishvilli, showcasing her competitive edge. In addition to her expertise in Judo and Sambo, Taylor has four years of training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, further enhancing her grappling skills and versatility. Her dedication to mastering various combat sports makes her a formidable presence in the martial arts community.

Taylor is an accomplished Sambist and Judoka with 16 years of experience in the martial arts. With an impressive collection of three national and Pan-American gold medals, he has proven his prowess on the mat, recently earning a notable victory over Merab Dvalishvilli. Taylor’s extensive training in Sambo, combined with four years of boxing, kickboxing, and jiu-jitsu, highlights his versatility and skill in combat sports.
