I've always been passionate about tennis, and my journey has taken me to some incredible places. I played Division I tennis in college, competing in both singles and doubles, and even reached the finals of the 1984 Olympic Trials. Those experiences taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and the thrill of competition. Today, I still love the game and am always looking for ways to improve my skills and share my passion with others.

I am a retired professional left handed pitcher with the Toronto blue jays. For two decades, I've had the privilege of sharing my passion for baseball and witnessing the incredible growth in young athletes. My coaching style combines technical expertise with a positive and encouraging approach tailored to each individual athlete, creating a fun learning environment where players can either develop a new skill or fine tune their already established fundamentals.

David brings more than 65 years of playing experience and 55 years of coaching expertise to the court. He has served as Head Tennis Professional at two country clubs and spent 25 years coaching high school tennis, where he guided four Texas players to the state tournament. A three-year letterman in high school and at Lamar University (’65–’69) in Beaumont, Texas, David combines deep technical knowledge with a lifelong passion for player development.
