I am an LPGA Apprentice. As the founder of Golf Eudaimonia, I am dedicated to empowering young women through the game of golf. My journey began as a Howard University women’s golf team graduate, where I developed a deep passion for the sport. Throughout my career, I've worked for esteemed companies such as Pebble Beach Golf Resorts, Callaway Golf, and The First Tee. Under the mentorship of top instructors in the industry, I've accumulated over 3000 hours of teaching experience. Through my non profit, Grasp Girls With Golf, I aim to inspire the next generation of female golfers and instill in them the confidence and skills to succeed both on and off the course.

With over 30 years of golf experience and 15 years dedicated to teaching, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the game. As a former college-level player on a golf scholarship, and with a current handicap of 1.2, I understand the demands and rewards of competitive play. I work with golfers of all skill levels, focusing on etiquette and rules to ensure players understand the foundational aspects of golf, building a strong base for a solid game, perfecting technique to improve performance, emphasizing critical skills for on-course success in short games and putting, and sharing extensive knowledge of 18-hole play strategies. In keeping with the philosophy of Bobby Jones, the first person to capture all of golf’s major championships as an amateur, I believe that dedication and proper technique are essential for success in any endeavor. Over the years I have dedicated tens of thousands of hours to the practice and implementation of the mechanics in the golf swing. I've be committed to my teaching for almost 25 years, helping people of all levels. I’ve taught over 30,000 group & private lessons helping people achieve their goals. I’ve been a member of the PGA since 2004. I was the head teaching pro at El Dorado Park in Long Beach for 13 years before moving over to Recreation Park 18. I created the first ever teaching & coaching completion within the PGA of America called America’s Golf Coach. I also created and run a non profit in Long Beach called Tee Off Together. "Rian was awesome!! I told him specifically what I wanted to work on and understand how to fix it while on the course. We got straight to it, within 5 minutes he was able to identify some of my gaps with my swing and pinpoint how to fix it. He was very straight forward with clear instructions, easy to understand. He recorded my swings and showed me the wrongs, rights and progression throughout my sessions. Hitting off grass was also a plus, great vibe, great conversations, he knows his stuff. Great instructions for an affordable price, I highly recommend him!!

I hold the course record of 57 at my home course, Alhambra Golf Course, and have competed in multiple PGA pre-qualifying events.
