What you will need for a lesson: -Pickleball paddle ( I have demo paddles if you haven’t purchased yet) -Comfortable athletic clothing -Hard court tennis shoes (highly recommended), any flat sole sport shoe is a good starting point. Lessons for kids are designed using a constraint-led approach and are conducted based on age of students. Age 8-under will incorporate more appropriate methods for their motor skill level, whereas 9 and older can incorporate more advanced skill learning.

Patience is key. Depending on age, some kids pick up the sport and can progress like any other player. It does usually take slightly longer for kids to develop proper technique and consistency. That being said, it improves hand-eye coordination, control, and is a great form of exercise with relatively low risk of injury when compared to other contact sports.
