I played NCAA Division I college tennis in the U.S. and have coached players of all levels—from beginners picking up a racquet for the first time to nationally ranked juniors aiming for college scholarships. Hi, I’m Bernardo Borges, a professional tennis player originally from Brazil with over 7 years of coaching experience. I’ve been playing tennis since I was 5 years old, and the sport has been my greatest passion and career ever since. I’ve worked with players of all ages and skill levels—from complete beginners to elite professionals, including Top 10 ATP players like Casper Ruud, Jannik Sinne, Jack Draper, Alex de Minaur, Lorenzo Musetti, Tommy Paul and lots more. I’m also the official hitting partner for the Miami Open (Masters 1000), a role I’ve proudly held for four consecutive years, and currently work with WTA players such as Coco Gauff, Paula Badosa, Diana Shnaider, Sofia Kenin, Shelby Rogers, Elena Rybakina, and Cadence Brace. Tennis has been my lifeblood since the age of 4. Growing up, I proudly represented Ukraine on the national junior team, consistently ranking among the top 3 players in my country. My passion and talent led me to compete at the Division 1 collegiate level, playing for a top 50 NCAA team. My college career was marked by both individual and team success, including victories in prize money tournaments and championship titles in the Big South and Sun Belt conferences. Now, I'm eager to share my wealth of experience and inspire others to reach their full potential on the court.
